Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off

7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Uses of the Vehicle
- The vehicle must not be used for any illegal activities. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or any other dangerous driving practices. Transporting hazardous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting to others or permitting unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. Use of the vehicle should align with its intended purpose, and you must adhere to passenger and weight limits. Driving outside of the specified geographical area requires prior approval.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and extra fees.
Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by Scottish law, Car Hire Musselburgh is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business associated with your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims is capped at the amount paid for the rental within the last 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, or for fraudulent activity.
